I mostly enjoyed my stay at Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort. The 2-bedroom suite was spacious and perfect for my family. However, the alarm testing without prior notice was an unpleasant surprise, and navigating check-in was a bit chaotic due to parking issues.

Rooms

The suite was clean and well-maintained, providing a nice base for our family vacation.
Service
6.0
Staff were kind and attentive, but the timeshare sales pressure was a downside and made our experience less relaxing.
Location

The resort's location was great, just about a 10-minute walk to the Heavenly gondola, plus nearby grocery and fast-food options made it convenient.
Dining

We enjoyed a delicious meal at the on-site restaurant with some really strong Margaritas during happy hour.
Facilities

The pool was nice but got crowded after dinner. Valet parking was convenient, although parking overall was a hassle.

5.0/10

I had a comfortable stay at Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort, though not without its bumps. My room was spacious and well-stocked, plus the location near Lake Tahoe was perfect for outdoor activities. However, parking was an issue, particularly during busy nights, and the service had moments where they felt pushy with timeshare offers.

Rooms
8.0
The suite I stayed in was spacious with a full kitchen, though a bit smaller kitchen wise. The bathroom was large and well-maintained, which I appreciated. However, there were annoying little details like a missing deadbolt on the patio door that left me feeling a bit uneasy with my child sleeping in the other room.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and attentive. However, at times I felt overwhelmed by the push to attend timeshare presentations, which detracted from the overall experience. The follow-through on housekeeping was also lacking, given we found unclean towels during our stay.
Location
7.0
The resort's location near Lake Tahoe was one of its best features, allowing for easy access to outdoor fun. Though I appreciated the proximity to the beach, reaching restaurants and shops required a bit of a drive, and parking was a hassle, especially at night.
Dining
6.0
The in-house restaurant had decent food, especially during happy hour, but it never quite exceeded my expectations. I liked having the option of a full kitchen in my room to prepare meals, which added convenience for my family.
Facilities
7.0
Amenities like the indoor/outdoor pools were a highlight for our family, and I appreciated the availability of BBQ grills for outdoor cooking. However, the heavy push for timeshare discussions and a lack of parking options diminished the experience.

I had a mixed experience at the Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort. The location was fantastic, close to shops and the beach. However, the marketing calls for timeshares were intrusive and really disrupted my stay. Also, while I appreciated the spacious rooms and full kitchens, I found the parking situation quite frustrating, often needing to walk a block to find a spot.

Rooms
8.0
The rooms were spacious with a full kitchen, which was great. However, I noticed the decor was a bit dated, and the mattress could have been more comfortable. Despite this, the cleanliness was commendable.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and eager to help, but I felt overwhelmed by the constant marketing for timeshares. I wished they would have a clearer way to opt out from the start.
Location
9.0
The resort is conveniently located near shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore Lake Tahoe. I loved that we could easily walk to the marina for various water activities, though parking was a hassle.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent, and I appreciated the self-service kitchen provided in our unit, which let me cook. Overall, I would have loved more on-site restaurant options.
Facilities
7.0
I enjoyed the amenities like the heated indoor pool and the activity space for kids. But the parking was limited and the sauna wasn’t very hot, which was a letdown.

My stay at Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort was a mix of positives and challenges. The family-friendly atmosphere and heated outdoor pool were standout amenities, making it great for kids. However, I found the beds uncomfortable, which affected my sleep quality. Overall, it was a lovely experience with room for improvement.

Rooms
7.0
My room was spacious and had a kitchenette, which was helpful for preparing meals. However, I found the beds too firm for my liking, and the pillows weren't very comfortable either.
Service

The staff was friendly and attentive, especially during dining where Dale and Oliver provided excellent service. However, I faced issues with housekeeping, as my room wasn't cleaned until check-out day.
Location
8.0
The resort's location is fantastic, just a short walk from Lake Tahoe and local restaurants. It felt very accessible for outdoor activities, especially skiing in winter.
Dining
8.0
I enjoyed dining at the in-house restaurant, which served delicious food and cocktails. The happy hour was a nice bonus to the meal experience.
Facilities
7.0
The amenities, particularly the heated outdoor pool and game room, were excellent for keeping my kids entertained. However, the indoor pool area was overly chlorinated, which was irritating to my eyes.

My stay at Hilton Vacation Club Lake Tahoe Resort was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the beautiful location and the friendly, helpful staff, I did encounter some issues that dampened my experience. Specifically, I faced a frustrating check-in process, and the parking situation was less than ideal. Still, I'm hopeful about returning based on the management's willingness to resolve the situation.

Rooms
5.0
I booked a DELUXE suite, but was placed in a STANDARD room at check-in, which was disappointing. Despite the issues, the cleanliness of the rooms stood out, and I liked the amenities provided.
Service

The staff, particularly Kelsey the Concierge and Theresa Collins, were genuinely friendly and did their best to assist me during the check-in mix-up. Their customer service left a positive impression, even amidst the chaos.
Location

The resort is ideally located right by Lake Tahoe, providing easy access to beautiful views and outdoor activities. It’s also within walking distance to restaurants and shops, which I found very convenient.
Dining

I enjoyed the food at the on-site restaurant, especially during happy hour. It was nice to have dining options within the resort, making meals easy to manage.
Facilities
6.0
The amenities, including pools and recreational areas, were great for family activities. However, the parking situation was quite problematic, especially at night. Valet was available but limited.
